Parungpanjang–Jakarta, 26–27 September 2025 – Nida El-Adabi Institute in collaboration with Jakarta Business School successfully held The 2nd International Conference of Nida Collaboration (ICONIC) 2025 on September 26–27, 2025 in a hybrid format. Carrying the theme “The Empowering Knowledge and Innovation for Holistic Islamic Civilization in the Digital Era”, the conference brought together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various national and international universities.
The first day took place at Nida El-Adabi Institute, Parungpanjang, featuring paper presentations by all participants. The event was officially opened with welcoming remarks by Drs. H. Ramlan Rosyad, M.Si (Rector of Institut Nida El-Adabi) and Tan Sri Prof. Dr. Nordin Kardi (Jakarta Business School). Paper presentations were divided into morning and afternoon sessions, allowing researchers to showcase their findings across diverse fields.
The second day was held at Jakarta Business School and featured distinguished keynote speakers and panelists. Keynote addresses were delivered by Prof. Dr. Azizi Abu Bakar (Universiti Utara Malaysia) and Prof. Dr. Saipul Annur, M.Pd (UIN Raden Fatah Palembang). Other notable speakers included Prof. Hamdan Zoelva (Jakarta Business School), Dr. Yusrinadini Zahirah Binti Md Isa (Universiti Brunei Darussalam), Lutfi, Ph.D (Nida El-Adabi Institute), Dr. Narong Hassanee, S.E., M.Si (Fatoni University, Thailand), Dr. Muhammad Fikri Aziz (Universiti Utara Malaysia), and Dr. Razli Ramli (University of Technology Malaysia). The discussions highlighted crucial issues surrounding Islamic education, Islamic economics, the digital industry, as well as the role of literacy and innovation in shaping Islamic civilization in the digital era.
As part of the appreciation, the committee granted the Best Paper Awards to Sri Puji Lestari (UIN Sunan Kudus), Reffy Ananda Rizki (Nida El-Adabi Institute), and Atropal Asparina (STAI Al Hidayah Tasikmalaya). Meanwhile, the Best Presenter Awards were presented to Hilda Monoarfa (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), Akmaluddin Rois (Nida El-Adabi Institute), Iqbal Anggia Yusuf (Institut Agama Islam Tasikmalaya), Mohammad Ridwan (STAI Riyadul Ulum Condong Indonesia), Anja Hawari (STAI Riyadul Jannah Subang), and Atropal Asparina (STAI Al Hidayah Tasikmalaya).
The conference was officially closed by the Masters of Ceremony, followed by a concluding prayer led by Dr. Syahlarriyadi. The 2nd ICONIC 2025 has become a significant platform for global academic collaboration, strengthening the role of higher education in advancing a holistic Islamic civilization in the digital era.
